I love it!!!

I am just loving the changing of the seasons here in good ol' Colorado! The leaves changed colors and now are falling off slowly to reveal their branches for winter. My drive to work everyday makes me smile because of the scenery. I drive toward the beautiful Rockies with snow capped mountains and once again, the awesome colors of the trees. I've always loved nature and scenery so this place has been everything I've wanted. I need to take my camera one day and take pictures on my drive to work so all of you can see what I mean. I know we have mountains in Cali but they're way closer to me now then they were in Downey. I'm surrounded and I love it! Plus today it was 70 degress, and tomorrow... is going to be 40 with possible snow! I hope there's snow!

The next day...

There was snow when we woke up!!!

My baby's first snow...

Life?

On Lori's request, I am updating my blog. Unfortunately, I don't really have anything new/exciting to report. I like my job, I get to tutor awesome kids all day long. On that front, something happened the other day that made me feel really good as a teacher. On Friday my car battery died and we couldn't get one until after I aleady had to be at work so I had to call work and tell them I wasn't coming in. I was supposed to tutor a girl named Stephanie for the ACT that day. So the center director called her to tell me I couldn't tutor her and she refused to come in that day and be tutored by anyone else. Her and her mom both said that they wanted only me and if I wasn't coming in, neither was she. I'm not trying to toot my own horn but as teacher it feels good to know that I'm actually making a difference in her life, albeit a little one. That was the highlight of my week.
Tonight Robert and I are going out to Fort Collins, which is a town comparable to going to Uptown Whittier or 3rd street Promenade. There are lots of retaurants and people around. We were supposed to go to a wedding today in a place called Estes Park but Robert's belly revolted against him so we decided to stay local but still have a date. I wanted to go to the wedding because it was at the Stanley Hotel, which is a haunted hotel where The Shining was written and filmed. We will go there someday because that sounds like a very cool place to see, plus it's in the Rocky Mountains. One day soon we'll go and I'll have pictures. For not having much to say I sure wrote a lot. And I'm spent. Bye for now!
